Private pool party to kick start the new year

"I don't wanna play. I want to go swimming."
I like the fact that this girl with special needs could communicate her desires clearly.
"Ok, I promise to take you go swimming but not this week ok? You join the rest first."
And every other week, this conversation repeats itself.
Funny, other children has been echoing the same appeal for water play too.
I guess, it means that they feel safe and loved enough to make requests.
We can understand their plea, water does have miraculous healing effect. (If you don't already know, Dean Ng is even a certified Stand Up Paddle Instructor too!)
Anyway, since we can't bring them into the open sea, we contacted Terence and Belle. Despite our last minute request, they were kind enough to secure a private space for the kids to just be themselves in the pool and enjoy a BBQ.
The kids played till they literally turn white/blue/purple. They stayed as long as they could in the chilly weather and they looked so happy. They had such raging appetites that stressed our two precious chefs (not me!).
For those that made today possible including the team (especially Jeremy and Farid), do accept their gratitude and well-wishes: "Thank you volunteers and may God bless you abundantly!"
